Crafting with Heart
A farewell turned creative experiment — I wanted to thank my amazing teammates at Keppel with something personal and meaningful. The result: a set of Hero Cards, each one celebrating a teammate’s unique “superpower.”
This project became a playground for blending graphic design, storytelling, and generative AI, all wrapped up with a holographic finish (literally ✨).
I wanted every card to reflect each person’s personality — their strengths, quirks, and what made them shine at work. I crafted short hero storylines and matching visuals that celebrated those traits in a fun, collectible style.
🧠 Process
From ideas to pixels, the journey was part storytelling, part experimentation:
Concept Development
Wrote mini “hero bios” inspired by each teammate.
AI Exploration
Used generative AI to visualize characters and 3D avatars.
Graphic Design
Designed custom layouts and card compositions in Illustrator, layering UV and holographic effects for that extra glow.
Showcase Page
Built a mini HTML/CSS lightbox gallery to display the printed and digital versions interactively.
🎨 Outcome
What began as a farewell gift became one of my favorite creative studies — a reflection of how AI can amplify human creativity. Each Hero Card became a keepsake, a small, shiny tribute to teamwork and shared memories.
